Interim Crit

My questions:

1) Who do you think the audience is? (Gift brief)

2) Do the products in the sketchbook solve problems that come with wrapping? (Gift)

3) What sticks out on the Black Label design page?

4) Do you recognise the quotes in the impersonator brief?

Feedback:

1)
 - reminds me of very - females 20-30ish
- Paperchase appeal mainly to the young and predominately female audience

- because your branding is clear, smile and consice I think it could appeal to a wide range of audiences.  Could be distributed in shops other that paperchase

2)
- I'm not sure what problems come with wrapping products seem well investigated and considered though

3)
- Not much feedback to give at this stage -> still brainstorming

4)
- Yes I recognised the quotes

- Yes, majority of the quotes I recognise. Couldn't find this written brief? A clear summary would have been helpful

- The different point sizes on each poster creates disparity/ don't work as well as a set

Card:
Really nice work, where 365 is larger - stitching becomes less fine, this could break the illusion of a cross stitch

Brief 2:
- works well but needs more development work, examples of work in practice

Extra:

It would've been better to see printed briefs. No tags on the side of blog makes it hard to find work for one brief

Response:

I think the comments are fair and if i'd been more prepared for the crit then I think the work I had done could of been explained and organised clearer to get better feedback.
