I wanted to do the quotes on simple black and white printed a5's to strip the statement of personality. I wanted the text to appear the same way keeping the typography consistent in type, layout and weight.
I initially tried Futura
I tried to make the text lay out so it would be read in the correct pace to the punctuation.
I then tried Helvetica Bold as it is a neutral typeface that has great clarity and no intrinsic meaning in its form. This was to strip the text of speech of any kind so it was left to the actual words to communicate the impersonation.
I reworked some of the texts to create better fluidity
This shows the margins I gridded out to keep the consistent placement of the text.
I also added a 'bibliography' of the films at the end of the collection of quotes
