I reworked the packaging after realising my mistakes with the initial nets. I particularly worked on the the font size as this was to small on the original nets. I also concentrated on making sure the design was as consistent as possible across all the different scales. My second lot of nets was much improved and when I was creating them my containers were delivered.
Therefore I now compared my nets with the containers scale wise so I could make them the appropriate width, height and depth. I wanted the dimensions to be as realistic as possible so working with the containers was perfect as I chose liquid measurements that would be appropriate to each product commercially.
For the face cleanser I decided to obviously make it taller but also make the width thinner so it was more fitting to the tube. This is because in the industry I imagine they'd want to save on as much as possible and therefore have as little excess as possible.
Again the height needed to be altered for the toner and cleanser. They are both very different heights though so I will need to make two different sizes.
I made a full net for the tinted balm and reworked the font size. This worked better but there were a few layout things to alter.
When changing the moisturiser net I had forgotten to alter the dimensions of the sides. This I will now change in my next mock up as well as shorten the height so the tub doesn't look drowned by the packaging.
The foundation tube was relatively thin and I think it would look silly in a wide box so I'm going to change this to fit the dimensions of the tube.
I also made a net for the clear mascara. The font size and layout on this needs slightly adjusting.
