Self: Mock ups

Using the measurements online of the containers I estimated the dimension i'd need for the packaging nets.

This I then adapted to the design applying the branding and information.

I did a test run of the nets I had made to make sure that they fitted together properly before I printed them properly. I found a few faults with the initial nets which I now no to tweak.

The back of the box wasn't the same dimensions as the front so it was important to alter this. It was good to see the scale of the packaging net before hand to so I could see how the font size worked and how the box would look in scale to real skincare packaging.

I think the main test with these nets will be the comparison of the containers in scale to the nets. The ratio of size needs to be correct otherwise the packaging won't look correct.

I like the layout of the text and branding however I think once i've reworked the scales in proportion to the actual containers I will have to alter the font size. Elements of the design I had already created when scaled down to the actual format size it loses legibility.
