I began by defining the word nest as I often find that by doing this it gives me links to stem my research off from.
I found it interesting that it also referred to a persons 'secluded retreat' as well as objects fitting inside itself such as russian dolls. This could work well visually or as part of the conceptual design.
I extended upon this by looking at related words. I think the key to branding this brief is to maintain the idea of nest as shelter and home as it is for homeward products. It represents warmth, comfort, materials and it is built up.
I looked further into the purpose of a nest and how they vary and are structured. It was interesting to find out it varied from specie to specie. This uniqueness could work well for a tagline to the brand. The language used in the brand identity could play on the language used in reference to birds nest.
