Monk: Final Logo

After coming back to this brief I realised that this logo was the strongest rather then including her first name. Therefore I played around with how it could be displayed:

So I mocked up a few examples of how the logo I decided to go with could look over her photography for printed promotional material such as business cards.

I sent her a small selection to look at in which she replied:

We then had a small discussion about her website and she gave me her log in for her wix account which she gave me full reign.

The original website design:

My main things were to maintain as much consistency across the website with the style of the logo and over all brand image. Working on a site like this was quite limiting and restrictive but with a few alterations I was able to make the website appear more professional and sleeker.

I added the logo in the header and linked it to the homepage.
I removed all borders on the images, altered them to better compositioned images without the text overlaid as she had before.

moved her social media navigation to the top right as it wasn't visible on the bottom right.
Altered all text to work with the logo and rescaled it to a smaller pt size

Altered the photography and language of the contact details as well as the colouring of the message board so it blended better with the page and was less garish.

I feel these alterations really brought the website to a new level of professionalism and framed her photography work in a more styled setting.
