I looked at the brief resources provided by D&AD in the pack and online on the site. This helped me get my head around what they actually wanted from the brief. I got a clear understanding of what fashion film and how the exhibition hoped to explore and display Britians part in the development of the genre through advancements in technologies.
I listened to the brief clip and wrote down key words that they mentioned they did and didn't want.
There inspiration links showed how different languages can be applied and experimented with to create a bilingual type. It also showed D&AD's concept and identity applied to the space both interactive, digital and physical. The other article on signage and way finding demonstrated the possibilities for inventive applications of function and space.
