Red Cross: Website

I looked at the information that would need to be applied and broke it down into key things as to work out the navigation of the site.

As the flyers would link to the website it was important that the homepage linked with the concept. I didn't want it to completely dominate the whole of the site but to have a connection between the initial message they engaged with.

The homepage would link to this page where videos of interns experiences would show students what they could do and hear others opinions.

For the page of information for internships I decided to use the scroll feature so the information is broken up and it's more visually engaging to go through. The navigation bar would be fixed in place and the arrows would guide the user up and down.

I included an about page so there was a brief bit of information on the charity so they could learn what they stand for with out it dominating the whole site like the usual Red Cross site. This would scroll down also like a timeline.

For how they could volunteer they had 6 steps which I decided to apply the iconography from my analysis of sites towards. Making them more simple and easy to digest by using this simple illustration technique would be appropriate to students.

Once clicked on it would create a slideshow breaking up the different steps.

This would glide across between the steps.

I have chosen interactive functions which would work for tablets so it uses flicking tools to swipe up and down or side to side.
