Posh Nosh: Packaging Development

I was still really struggling with this packaging and couldn't work out how to make the design work across all the formats. I looked at packaging both brand orientated and not as commercial for the different items I had to packaged for some inspiration on how connotations for infancy and fancy packaging were used.

I did some rough sketches of layout options for the different formats prior to designing digital. 

 I tried an alternative option first that didn't use the ribbon shape to incase the text so that the packaging varied across items of food. However it seemed quite bland.

 This then led me to play around with image using different tones as to not make it appear so strong and busy.

 I was feeling a bit confused at this point and felt it was just so yellow.. even though I wanted all the items to be fully yellow. I thought as an experiment I would try an alternative for the bread packaging by using a clear bag which windowed through to the food.

I'm not exactly inspired by this but feel if I leave it for a bit and come back to it with fresh eyes I might be able to choose the right direction.
