Brabantia : Competition

I did some searching for competitions because I realised that my briefs are self-initiated and I wanted some briefs that were going to bring something from it such as recognition, prize or payment. I found this one which was quick and easy.

I looked at the official website of the company and really liked there look and styling of products. I wasn't initially enthused when I looked at the competition but they changed my mind.

Instead of entering a pattern like most people I entered almost a beginning of a concept. I had made a get well soon card for a family member and used the line from Mary Poppins. I thought that this could make a quirky and modern kitchen range with quotes and simple visuals for the different products.

This could possible become another self-initated brief to develop further and across a bigger range.

I wish i'd been able to create the mock up and had put a different background other than white. It's not as good as it could potentially look.
